Canceled my account for no reason and will not tell me why. I cant imagine anything that I have done out of the ordinary. Put money in from bank account, buy crypto and sold crypto. Where is my money now? GONE!!!

**First email** ” After careful consideration, Bitstamp decided to terminate your access to your Account in accordance with our Terms of Use. Your account will be terminated from the date of this notice having been received by you. This notice shall be treated as having been served upon completion of the transmission of this email.

The decision to terminate your Account has been reached following a close examination of your recent account activity and information which you have provided. It is our view that any continuation of our relationship would not be appropriate at this time due to internal policies. ”

**When asked what I have done wrong? Over two weeks later…**

” as mentioned before, due to our internal policies, we cannot provide you with any further information on the reasons leading to the termination of your account.

Once the account is terminated, you can no longer log in to your account, you cannot regain access to it, the account cannot be reactivated, and you cannot open a new account.”

I will not put this to sleep until I get my money back or a good explanation of what I have possibly done wrong!

So they terminated your account due to “internal policies” and cannot tell you about those policies due to “internal policies”.

That’s some awful transparency there. Glad I don’t use their platform anymore.

I’d keep escalating this. Look at potential legal action. They have your money.

Please keep us updated on the proceedings of this issue, it is important that this problems are made public. I would say this is compliance related, but this is not how you manage your clients.
