Bitstamp doesn’t do currency conversion anymore?

So I initiated a wire transfer to bitstamp on Dec 18th, nothing new but I haven’t done one in almost a year. Deposit form looked the same, no changes noticed. I even took note that it still said, as of the 18th, they still do currency conversion to USD (as they deal with usd or euro). Still noting today, so I opened a ticket and was told by Kristina that they no longer accept cad and referred me to the holiday schedule, where it also has no mention of this.

Can I get someone to double check this? The tickets still open. This is the very first time I’ve ever heard this. They insist it will bounce back but basically I’m out 30 bucks for a wire transfer that bitstamp claimed they would take (as they even let me choose the CAD option on the form as of the 18th of dec) and fully honour. So yeah not exactly thrilled, was hoping to have bought a little more btc before today.

I wrote Kristina back but I haven’t heard boo in two hours, honestly this is the most bogus event that’s ever happened between myself and bitstamp. Would love to have this resolved ASAP.
