I’ve had to disable all my 2FA’s on google authenticator as Im changing my iphone tomorrow. I had heaps of apps to do it on and many crypto accounts. It is only my Kucoin exchange account that Im having many issues with. I cant believe how complicated it is to do this.

Im close to giving up and will not use my Kucoin account again if it takes me any more effort… Wonder if the software designers took this into account when designing the security settings. Annoy the user too much = user moves to a new exchange…

There’s no option to **disable KuCoin 2FA security**, it is a security measure followed by all our users. [https://kucoin.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014897913-Google-2FA](https://kucoin.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014897913-Google-2FA)

If you manage to back up your **16 digit key**, you can just [rebind](https://kucoin.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014897913-Google-2FA) it again.

For the trading password, just follow the **easy steps** here: [https://support.kucoin.plus/hc/en-us/articles/360014800074-Trading-Password#h_bba263a8-1300-4f2d-86ba-89ea79c6b372](https://support.kucoin.plus/hc/en-us/articles/360014800074-Trading-Password#h_bba263a8-1300-4f2d-86ba-89ea79c6b372)

So protecting your assets and account annoys you? hmm

So you essentially lost your original 2FA code? Otherwise why would it be a problem? Just add it to the new phone.

Having to change 2FA defeats the purpose of having it in the 1st place.
