We’ve received reports of people getting scammed by fake Biststamp mods.

We will never ask you for your personal information online. If someone does, either immediately stop communication or mess with them for a little bit… just for the fun of it. Trolling scammers is 100% allowed. Just make sure you never reveal anything about yourself or your Bitstamp account.

The only official Bitstamp mods are:

u/BitstampExchange

u/Bitstamp-Domen

u/Bitstamp-Matic

u/Bitstamp-Lucas

There are no other official Bitstamp reddit accounts.

A common scamming technique they use is to change a minor detail in the name, for example: u/Bitstamp_Lucas. Everyone thinks they won’t fall for it… until they do. So please be careful 🙂
