Hi Bitstamp, my account got suspended because I haven’t uploaded documents that show where I got ‘other’ crypto that might have been deposited in my Bitstamp wallet.

I did never have any other crypto, Bitstamp was the first exchange I ever used. Hence I cannot provide any documents on that matter.

Please unfreeze my account asap!!!

    Sorry to hear about that. You should’ve received an email with instructions on what to do in such cases. If you have no other sources of crypto and made no crypto deposits to your Bitstamp account, you should upload a scan or photo of a statement saying “I have made no deposits of cryptocurrency assets to Bitstamp”, written and signed by you.

    Just curious.. I remember when I was opening an account with Bitstamp there was somewhere where one is supposed to indicate “other sources” of crypto. I am not familiar with the new rules they have now but is there something more one needs to do now aside from the information provided on account opening?

    @Bitstamp-Domen, the KYC process takes way too long. I need the funds in my account to cover my living expenses here in Germany. Is it possible that Bitstamp transfers my money into my bank account, instead of having to wait to unfreeze my account? I’m fine with my account being deleted, but you cannot withhold my private funds.

    At this point, I lost all trust in your company. I provided the documents you asked for, and you nevertheless froze my account without warning.

    If your support does not react to my inquiry, I will seek legal assistance in that case.
