TLDR;
While attempting to do second verification I faced 2 errors by Onfido Software:

* When the software is scanning my passport it says my face is not detected.

* When I proceed to the video verification it does not let me record the video and then it says my verification failed.

I already tried rebooting my phone, I have the latest version of binance app, google play services, tried uninstalling and re installing binance app, cleaning cache, all data.
I tried it in three different devices. A Redmi Note 10 5g (My own phone), a redmi 6 and a Samsung Galaxy A50.

I´ve been a Verified Plus Binance user for more than a year. Recently they sent me a notification that I had to verify my identity again before december 14th (I think) in order to continue to use their services fully. I think this is related to some new European Union Banking regulations or something

So I went and tried it. I introduced my personal data, and them they took me to the Onfido verification page. And so, the weird things began to happen. First it said it wasn´t detecting my face on the passport. Then at the 3rd attempt I could send the passport photo although it kept saying the same thing.

Then when I was taken to the video verification. But before I was even able to record the software pulled me out and then a message saying “Verification failed, try again” showed up. After that I tried again for almost 15 to 20 times. I already tried rebooting my phone, I have the latest version of binance app, google play services, tried uninstalling and re installing binance app, cleaning cache, all data.
I tried it in three different devices. A Redmi Note 10 5g (My own phone), a redmi 6 and a Samsung Galaxy A50.

Has anyone experienced this kind of issue? I would appreciate some advice.

    Make sure your device allows app to use camera. Sometimes it’s being blocked in background and the allow pop up don’t show up. Good luck!

    Have same issues with Binance and Coinbase. Both are using Solarisbank for re-verification and their service is dog shit. Used both CEX for several years but now I’m going to ditch them for good. So glad I’ve never left anything in their wallets except for ramping. But I don’t want to rely on financial services that are unable to run a proper KYC procedure.

    Just withdraw your funds before the 14th and wait for approval of your second verification.

    ​

    They will lock your funds in otherwise..

    Remmeber not your keys , not your crypto.

    Make sure the app can use the camera on your device.
