The snapshot will be taken at the exact second of the fork, so if you are certain the fork has occurred, you should be safe.

Yeah all you have to do is have coins on the exact block the snapshot occurs. Then your address gets credited with the forked coins
I’m sure many will sell right after as with other forks in the past
