Kucoin — recover trading password without KYC
Hello, I last accessed my kucoin account well over a year ago and just recently logged in again. I’m trying to make a withdrawal request and it’s asking for my trading password, which I am 100% sure I have the correct answer to as I saved it inside of my password manager yet it is still claiming it to be incorrect. I am a US user and created my account a while back under VPN. How can I reset my trading password without submitting documents/KYC? This is absolutely insane that I am being asked to submit my documents as I have the correct password, it seems kucoin reset it or something while I was away. I am just trying to withdraw my own funds and it seems very scammy that kucoin is requesting all this. I’ve already submitted my password, email verification code as well as google authenticator. This should be more than enough. This experience has made me lose my trust completely in kucoin and if I cannot get this resolved, I will encourage my friends who, by the way, I referred to kucoin because they were so great to me in the past. I need access to my funds. Thank you in advance.

Wow, be very careful not to reveal your old password or etc details to unknown individuals. There are just too many scammers online, even in various reddit forums. They will sometimes ask you to scan their QR code or give you link(s) that could cause your device to be hacked and wallet emptied
