Over 300K frozen, no reply to ticket for over 5 weeks
Communication began April 4, 2022 in reply to submitted info from me about origin of funds (I was already KYC verified way before that). We went back and forth a few times, with more requests for info and questions which I all provided and answered. The last reply was 24 May with a generic “we’re working on it”.
I’ve sent two replies afterwards, once a complaint for a lack of updates, and then because for some reason at some point my submitted info in the “Info and Documents” got deleted by Bitstamp, with the website again asking for that information (which you already received).
So I have fully cooperated with all requests, Bitstamp knows pretty much everything about me and the history of funds, yet my funds are still frozen and I’m being ignored for over 5 weeks.
I always held Bitstamp in high regard and understand they have regulatory obligations, but being ghosted like this has made me start doubting their intentions. If you need even more info then ask it, but don’t just leave me hanging.
I’ll update this thread if there’s any progress, so other people can make an informed decision about using Bitstamp services and the counterparty risk that may represent.

5 weeks? You will probably wait 5 years if you don’t engage an attorney.
