P2P Merchant Canada

As you can tell from the title, I want to start doing P2P business in Canada as a merchant. However I’m abit scared of the legality of it without no business registrations or MSB. Can I do P2P without those things or will I have to apply to get the MSB and start doing it, if so how easy is it to get an MSB for an individual person starting out. Any information helps. Thank you
