Resetting security questions I never set up
I took a break from crypto for several months and decided to log on to kucoin. I couldn’t do anything because it says I enabled security questions which I know I did not. I submitted a ticket to reset them and got the following:
“We have received your request of resetting security questions , please provide the information as follow so that we can help you reset the security questions.
1. The date of your account registration.
2. A screenshot of assets-overview.
3 A screenshot of one of your deposit or withdrawal records.
4. A screenshot of trade history.
5.You are obliged to provide a video footage by holding your ID and paper note with“Date/KuCoin/Your name/Reset security questions”, please make sure the ID picture is same as your KYC picture, and repeat the following statement “I hereby voluntarily apply for this account to reset security questions at KuCoin, and I am willing to take all the corresponding legal responsibilities.”
THIS IS INSANE….

Yes, this is INSANE if you think about the hassle but the effect of this additional security is really worth it. 7/10 for me.
