Hello,
I know this sub is mainly used for communicating with support, but I just want to say that Bitstamp is a great exchange and the hate it’s been getting is just unfair, please do your due diligence before going on a rant. Most exchanges don’t even have Reddit support so pleas be kind and respectful to the bitstamp staff as they have been doing their best.

I’ve been using bitstamp for nearly 2 years and have never had any problems with it.

    The recent customer service conditions are, to say the least, unsatisfactory. At least regarding the response time of the submitted tickets. However, the reddit support is on fire 🙂

    I guess they are just severly understaffed right now due to the neverending bearmarket and corresponding low trading activity :/

    I’m a satisfied customer for over 6 years. They’ve answered and fixed all my issues (minor anyway) and the service is great overall.

    What I noticed over the past year however is that Bitstamp is lagging behind in terms of adoption and offer of new coins. While I understand why they would limit themselves to a few trusted coins, the current market has evolved and even Coinbase is listing more coins than Bitstamp soon…

    So if they don’t diversity they will lose existing customers or fail to attract new ones. Bitstamp is one of the longest standing exchanges, sad to see it offering 6 coins… they could have hundreds and be at the top. Instead a new exchange started in 2017, Binance, is at the top with over 400 coins and a more competitive fee schedule.

    This is a missed opportunity. I hope Bitstamp takes action, soon.
