Selling/Withdrawing on Bitstamp

Am I correct in thinking that if you execute an Instant sell on the Bitstamp web or app you then have to process a withdrawal whereby Bitstamp send you an email to confirm your withdrawal?

Only after you have confirmed the withdrawal via email do they send the funds to your bank?

    Hi. After initiating a desired withdrawal, you indeed get an email to confirm it (unless email confirmations are disabled). Once it’s confirmed we process it and send it out.
