    Hi Binancian,

This is arguably one of the most common scams reported by Binance users. They receive a text message from a scammer impersonating Binance or Binance staff members. The text will claim your account is under attack, ask you to cancel a withdrawal or provide you a fake link just like here. We suggest you to take a look our article about it. You can’t create a scam without knowing the persons email address or phone number with that in mind how are these scammers obtaining the contact details of Binance customers?

    There’s only 2 possibilities

    1) Binance was hacked and customers details were leaked.

    2) Binance is selling customer information onto 3rd parties.

Number spoofing is common, don’t fall for it.
