Also, be aware because some will try to contact you from reddit claiming they are from binance support, trust only support through the binance app and the official channel.

Guessing ‘Nationality’, really means ‘Country’ so you can only sign up if you’re from a country they do business in.

I think its because of the US who have sanctioned syria.

Yeah. It’s not binance, it’s your country

They need some proof of where you pay taxes, it doesnt matter where you are. The important part is where you pay taxes and thus which country laws apply to you. I may be from czech republic, but i worked in finland for 1 year, if you work in finland under 180day, you dont pay taxes. If you work longer than 180days you have to pay taxes to the finland, thus their taxing laws start to apply to you.

Otherwise you could just make quick trip to equador(0% tax on crypto gains) sell all your crypto to fiat and come back. Avoiding taxes.

same issue here, however you’re able to (only) withdraw your asset out if you get contacted with their customer service, they will send you an authenticator app to operate. I wonder if we can transfer the money to metamask.

You must be really young OP. Prepare for a life of a lot more hardships with that passport. I have another similar ‘black-listed’ nationality ie Afghanistan Cuba North Korea and the like. Apparently civil unrest is our (non-democratic) fault
