I’m not staking on Binance. Do not blame Binance uk seem to be the most strict when it comes to crypto. I found out that England was the first country to tax crypto so that says it all.
You can stake from your wallet. It’s better practice to remain the custodian of your own assets while you stake rather than send them to an exchange and let them do it for you.

You should consider Alternative DeFi options.
Coinbase Wallet is a good way of getting started.
But you go even simpler than that and just create a MetaMask wallet.
I’m currently staking some altcoins on Binance.
But that’s just a small part of my current investment portfolio.
The other coins that I have staked, I’ve done so through DeFi.
However, if you like the centralized “safety” of an exchange. You could look into Coinbase, the staking options aren’t as vast as that on Binance. But still pretty decent.
