I have always seen Bitstamp as a respected and trusted site, but that changed today!

This morning I received a mail informing my that they have terminated my account without any warnings or information on why.
Asking the support, why it was terminated they won’t assist and just saying.

“Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any further information on the reasons leading to the termination of your account due to our internal policies.”

WTF?! Is this? I have provided all the asked documents every time asked and never was told I did something wrong.

Just a heads up to others out there. They might just close your account out of nowhere.

** I have requested transaction and trade logs, as I would need that for tax purposes. Let’s see how helpful they are…..

Terminating a business relationship with a client is
not a matter we take lightly. While I’m not able to comment on the particulars
of such cases publicly, I can state that we only terminate business
relationships in accordance with our Terms of Use. Additionally, please rest assured that our team will help you out. 🙂

Bitstamp maybe have been growing too big and lots have been automated. I also receive a lot of mails from them demanding verification even though I already am.

I hope for you it’s just a mistake and they will come clean.

Only a fraud company would refuse to state why they closed an account due to internal policies and no legit reason.

Bitstamp also lied to me for half a year that they were solving the problem.. until one day they said that they can’t at the moment.. WTF. I’ve been waiting 13 months now.
