Binance don’t have the required licences to legally offer Staking/Financial services to UK customers at this time.
Apparently they recently bought a UK company that DID have the appropriate licenses, but I think they messed up and the licences weren’t transferred to them correctly so they shut down staking for the time being.
Now If only Binance would come out and actually say something…
I have been adding capital to binnance for a good part of 2022 I took a little profit and decided to add a small amount back into the same UK bank account where the capital originated. To my surprise they refused to allow the process due to a source of wealth declaration verification first I have heard of to be honest I sent in some documentation bank statements tax returns etc and was deemed unsuccessful they wanted lawyers conformation of sale as the capital came from property sales which seems excessive so I asked why they never asked for proof of wealth while I was depositing capital last deposit was November 2022 they replied with the requirement was only implemented January 2023 how convenient.Has any one else had the same issues I ended up selling all my assets and moved them else where won’t be using binnance again anytime just wanted to hear other users thoughts on this thanks in advance.
This is what I got from Binance on chat. Interestingly anything I’ve currently got staked can remain staked including ETH which is on flexible staking with no lock up period so I wonder whether that will just continue indefinitely? Overall this is bad though. I paid a lot of gas fees to get certain crypto over on to Binance. Hope staking returns soon.

About 5 or 6 days ago until further notice
Shame, staking is a great way to accumulate without adding funds
