Hello everyone here,

I have a bit of a complicated problem. I recently traveled overseas from USA to Europe and before I left, forgot to log in to my account on Binance and change my 2FA login from SMS to Google Authentication. As I am currently not able to receive SMS messages I am at a loss of what to do. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem?

I know that I have to send a request to Binance, but I want to avoid having to go through all of the security questions, because I don’t have a lot of the information from my account. If I could have direct contact with a person from support to give me extra assistance, that might help a lot. Also, I’ve logged into CashApp and other exchanges to find this info, but can’t see my BTC deposit address I sent to Binance in its entirety. I’m only able to view it partially from my phone.
I have thought of even to send my phone back to the USA in order to have a family member log in for me with my phone.

Does anyone have a workaround to help me with this? Exact instructions appreciated.

Edit: I do have the “backup” key on me for Google Authenticator as well as the Binance Google Authentication Code (I know those two things probably won’t help me here.)

Thanks!

If you only have SMS authentication enabled in your account, I’m afraid that you’ll have to follow our procedure if you want to log in your account as soon as possible. Kindly note that our team will have to assist you via the ticket system, therefore, please always open a support ticket if you need assistance.
