I opened the account with Bitstamp and I made my first deposit. From the moment they received my money they blocked my Cryptocurrency withdrawals!!!

I called them and they wanted to have a video call with me. They did not show up on time first of all and then they sent me a new link. After answering all of their questions they told me they would get back to me and nothing happened ever since.

I called again and they said that they will update me once they have an answer.

I have been waiting for a long time now and nothing is happening!!!

    I had a similar shaky start with Bitstamp; their new account process is not well documented and I suspect this leads to poor setting of expectations. I also found my functionality limited and through inquiry realized that I had to go through their KYC process, including the Zoom call and video biometric scan, to unlock all of the features of my account.

    Like someone else in this thread my annoyance was more that offset by the lengths that they went to through to verify my identity and set up security measures on my account. It is definitely frustrating that it can take an unknown period of time before withdrawals are available. But I eventually got everything activated and enabled and since then ,Bitstamp has worked fine for me, including API access by my portfolio manager.

    Yes that happened to me on my first withdrawal. I came away feeling more comfortable with their security measures. I was able to complete the discussion during my interview. Good luck.

    They are shameful, a friend of mine has not been able to withdraw crypto from them for a month so far despite completing KYC. They will charge him to covert back to fiat so he has paid fees twice for no reason, they take 1%. Don’t make any transactions with these guys until you have tried everything on a small amount of money and checked it all works!

    Hi , i have the same issue, they told me i have to wait and i have waited over 2 weeks today since my first deposit of 100 pounds to bitstamp, im having trouble withdrawing anything!

    Please help me to solve my matter.
