Is KuCoin doing this on purpose? Not giving enough to reach the limit?

KuCoin gave me some tasks that give rewards. After completing them all, I ended up with just 1 dollar short of the limit necessary to withdraw.

I assume this is some shady tactic to get you do all kinds of things without being able to get the “rewards”. Anybody experienced the same?
