The philanthropic arm of Binance – Binance Charity is set to fund 30,655 scholarships to students keen on forging a career in Web3 in 2023.

Does anyone know how this will work?

I read that the Binance Charity Scholar Program will provide free Web3 education and training courses which will enable tech-savvy students to upskill without having to leap-frog any unnecessary financial barriers, Binance Charity explained (quoting):

“We recognize that digital education and skills development can be out of reach for many, resulting in a blockchain industry that lacks diversity and talent. The Binance Scholar Program changes all that, covering the costs of tuition and course fees at some of the world’s leading universities, colleges, and vocational training providers.”

I heard that over 82,000 applicants were interested in becoming a part of the next BCSP cohort, which equates to an acceptance rate of about 37%.

I enjoy learning new things, and I think scholarships of this nature are wonderful. This news amazes me because I was so engaged in my gaming and web3 jobs. I’m eager to see what the next generation will build and provide for us. Whether it’s CoinFantasy or Gods unchained, gaming is my top option, and it’s thanks to Web3 that games will have a successful future.

Amongst the education partners getting involved include the University of Western Australia, the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany, and the Nigerian-based technology hub Utiva.

Do you like this idea of having scholarships for a web3 career?
