Got new phone, google auth doesn’t have binance.

Sooooo….I’m on iOS.
I can’t login, I need help. My google authenticator is set up on my new phone, but it doesn’t have the Binance option in there to get a code for me to log in. I’ve gone through Binance’s reset process already and submitted my ID and picture and it tells me it fails each time even though the pictures are perfectly readable.
Any ideas? No I don’t have a backup key, I don’t even know what that is and I didn’t see one when I signed up, or if I did, I didn’t know what I was looking at.

It is expected behavior for Google Auth not to carry over your codes to your new phone unless you take proper procedures to back the relevant data up first.
When enabling 2FA, you are prompted with the back-up code and told to save it in a secure location. It also briefly describes what it is for.
You’ll need to open a support ticket.
You have to email auth and binance and verify then reset. Same happened to me with Coinbase.
if you saved your secret keys you can reset it this way..
The backup key is exactly what you scanned/typed into your google auth app when you started up 2fa with binance
I had the same problem. I kept trying. I vaguely recall that there may have been a 7 day limit. Luckily, it finally worked for me barely before reaching the limit. Actually I had given up and was just going through the motions at that point. Didn’t expect it to actually work but it finally took.
I have the exact same problem! Got a new phone and now Authy locked my binance account! I know I didn’t get recovery codes because I’m very well organized and keep all that stuff in one location. I told myself last night, “well, you just lost $12k” and just stumbled onto this post. I will open a ticket with authy for sure. Thank you!!
uh oh
