I was trying to deposit USDT from my binance us account to kucoin this morning, and when I went to copy the address I hit copy a couple of times, like I usually do because I’m OCD, and noticed that it maybe wasn’t the same address the second or the third time, but it was 4:00 a.m. a.m. and I’m not a crypto expert and I was thinking it was similar to a virtual credit card number which gets switched every time you use it. Needless to say the usdt got sent to the wrong (from my perspective) address. I’ve got the TXID but I guess it doesn’t matter since I have no idea who the address belongs to, but I was wondering if I need to delete my kucoin account because that’s a common hack or if it was just fat fingers in the dark?
