Getting assets off of Binance.com in USA

I’d like to share how I got my assets off the exchange as a US citizen in hopes that someone will find it helpful.

So here we go…. I joined [Binance.com](https://Binance.com) around 2018 and never verified my account. Tried to log in a few weeks ago, couldn’t get in. Turned to the web for help and learned about [Binance.com](https://Binance.com) and [Binance.US](https://Binance.US).

So I turned on a VPN on my laptop and was able to log in. Tried to withdraw assets, they locked me out for suspicious activity. So I try to verify. Send pics of my USA ID card, even though my VPN said I was in Mexico. That part was easy enough. Then they want facial recognition, that you must do through their app.

Now I find that [Binance.com](https://Binance.com) and [Binance.US](https://Binance.US) each have their own app. So I put the same VPN on my phone, downloaded the app and did the facial recognition. At this point my account was under review and would take approximately two days to verify.

I waited two days and still hadn’t received an email. I logged back into my account (again using the VPN) and had a message saying I had seven days to withdraw.

This was easy to move some coins to my ledger but…..they limited me to withdrawing up to $2000 worth each 24 hour period. Not a big deal for me because I didn’t have too much on there.

I also had some shitcoins I couldn’t withdraw because of minimum amounts. Lost about $20, no big deal in the big picture.
