I accidently set my VPN to US, so my account and positions will be closed

Hi,

I am from a country where Kucoin is fully supported (and have used Kucoin for years), but for other purposes I had my VPN set to the US. So when I opened my Kucoin app, it told me that ‘due to US regulations’:
– from today I will no longer able to add new trade orders to my account
– after 1 month all services of my account will be ceased and ongoing services will be forcibly terminated
– I must withdraw all my assets within 3 months
How do I prevent this from happening? I have a long position open and if it gets forcibly terminated, I will lose a lot of money.
How do I prevent this? Where can I check the status of my account?

TLDR: I accidently opened the Kucoin app with my VPN set to the US and Kucoin told me they would close my services, positions and account

    if you have a KYC account this cant happen with a vpn beacuse you have registered passport, adress and bank Account from your country.

    It doesn’t matter. I had Mexico on VPN and still got the boot. Was your original KYC with USA residence?

    I asked Kucoin support for help and clarification and they sent me this rather generic response. What does seem to be a good sign is that your KYC location is the most important thing:
