Help, Can’t withdraw from Huobi
Looking for some advice. I hope I have all the facts straight as they were described to me. I met with a friend today who was quite distraught. In the past he was an active trader on Huobi’s Chinese based exchange. As an American he used a false name on the account, I believe he was seriously into the privacy aspect but maybe there were other reasons as well. He then had some medical issues that knocked him out of commission for a good length of time. During that time Huobi announced you had to get your coins off that exchange and move them to their American version or lose access. He never did that. Is there any way for him to gain access to his coins? Is there a company or an attorney out there who specializes in this type of recovery? What are the risks involved? Has this happened to others? It is a large sum of money. Any advice would be appreciated.
