I’ve been hearing a lot of people losing access to their accounts because they’ve damaged their phone.

Make sure to write your code down when you sign up. If you already have an account, DO IT NOW!

It’s under settings, Google 2-step. You’ll need to unbid it first. Then enable it, but write it down this time.

Please up vote this, this is very important.

P.S. If you’re not 100% sure how 2FA works in your chosen platform (whether it will create a backup or not), it’s best you write it down. Don’t be lazy.
