Which PoW coin are you mining with your GPU?

[ad_1]

Hey all

there are many coins in crypto space which could be mined with GPU, some are ASIC resistant, some are not. I would like to focus more on ASIC resistant ones. What do you all mine? Besides BitcoinGold, Conceal, Flux, BitcoinZ…?

Also, how much you trust centralized coins, and how much decentralized ones? I personally don’t like that CEO has power over my coins, it feels like I’m in a bank, someone can always steal my funds.

There are few coins which act as community driven and are decentralized Monreo, Digibyte, BitcoinZ.

I would like to hear everyone’s opinion.

This [article](https://echochamberesearch.com/most-profitable-cryptocurrencies-to-mine/) mentions Etc, Mona, Vtc and Zec. Have you tried any? What GPU are you using?

With the high cost of electricity, do you think mining is profitable?

BitcoinZ is a pure cryptocurrency that honors the original cryptocurrency idea but takes it to the next level. Its ASIC resistant algorithms let everyone who has a PC to participate in the mining procedure receiving meaningful rewards like it was meant to happen with BITCOIN many years ago. Without antagonizing power-hungry ASIC hardware and the elites that own it.

do ppl still mine even in this kind bear market? do they still get profits from that despite the electricity

Bitcoinz is a gem for sure. People still don’t know it or think that it is a shitcoin after more than 5 years honoring the original crypto idea. I really wonder what is wrong with them.
They have been addicted in meme scam tokens so much that they cannot recognize the few true crypto out there?

Bitoreum 🙂 started 3 months ago

Mine Bitoreum on CPU using ghostrider algorithm:

Reward of 5000 BTRM per block
    120 second block time
    POW for better security
    No Premine
Deploy smartnodes for >100% of APY returns!

    75% to miners
    20% to masternodes

Ravencoin. It’s not profitable today but I’m heating my home with mining instead of air conditioner. Win win.

I personally like BitcoinZ, Digibyte and Monero because they honor the original cryptocurrency idea and I find really questionable how major exchanges like Binance ended listing so many scam tokens and have not listed BitcoinZ yet or had a delay to list Digibyte.

BitcoinZ (BTCZ), uses zkSNARKs and therefore it has optional completely private addresses and transactions, has 2.5min block time and transaction fees are 0.0001 BTCZ. It’s a 100% decentralized chain with genesis block, no pre-mine or dev fees, also recently launched a wrapped version of the coin wBTCZon the Binance Network

I never liked the raven, he gets listed in top exchanges in his first years. Then later hacked for millions of Ravencoins worth several million dollars. So ?
Flux changed the max coin supply. So?
BitcoinZ with its fair launch & pure crypto fundamentals (no premine, 100% PoW & Community Driven, immutable supply, slow halvings) is completely immune to scams and “rug pulls”. Because there wasn’t any founder allocating any coins to his addresses. The only way to get BTCZ coins is by mining. Unfortunately this doesn’t happen with the vast majority of the other crypto and with all tokens where the founders simply allocate the whole supply in their pockets and sell thin air to unsuspecting buyers, helped by big exchanges that have been bribed with a part of this supply. This is why there are so many thousands of useless, inflationary “assets” out there.
    So?
The problem with BitcoinZ so far

The only last True Proof of Work cryptocurrency, Vertcoin on the Verthash algorithm. No other coin is as true to satoshi as #VTC. Vertcoin is ASIC resistant and will stay that way.
