Why is there no u2f on binance?

In the light of recent events, binance should really step up its security game and allow the usage of u2f verification. Granted, it is possible to use yubikey with binance, but even then it uses totp and not u2f. Difference of course being that secret keys are stored in binance servers when using totp.

How can we convince binance to allow usage of u2f?

    U2F is so secure. cant believe Binance hasn’t done it

    Its as safe as your seed itself and it comes from your device , not someone elses server. come on binance !!!
