Is Binance DEX designed to replace the existing Binance offering, or is it a supplemental product?

No definitely not, it will just evolve into a different thing. Basically, the DEX will become what the centralized exchange currently is for spot trading.. While the centralized exchange launches margin trading, futures, fiat pairings, expands the launchpad, and probably starts offering tokenized securities at some point in the future. Basically, all the stuff that requires KYC/AML can be done with Binance.com while the bulk of the crypto to crypto trading will be done on the DEX.

That’s what i think will happen anyway.

Its totally pointless, not many will use it, its not even a DEX its just called that.

I think they are gonna let the free market decide. But I don’t see anything being replaced. People will have their preferences and it’s never 100 percent agreed upon.

Yes, CZ said that this was his one of his end goals to retire the centralized exchange for a decentralized one. How long will that take? Who knows. In the mean time, he may also change his vision to keep a centralized exchange and a DeX
