Just posting here to build up the case with everyone else.

I got my transfer set to finished by Bitstamp Oct 17th. As per today I have not received my funds to my bank account. Only excuses.

Just found this sub, so this has bee posted in https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitstamp/ as well.

I’ve never had a problem getting money out of Bitstamp, Uk based and via money transfer back to my bank.

Hope you get your money, but I suspect there is a decent explanation as to why.

Source: used Bitstamp for three years.

The delays with USD transfers are due to our onboarding of new payment service providers. We onboarded multiple providers and each handles payment processing in a different way. This has caused delays with USD withdrawals; however, we are doing everything we can on our end.

We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for this situation.

A common cause for extreme delays is that we have had to request additional information. Please check your emails to see if you missed an email from Bitstamp regarding information related to your withdrawal.

Other things you can do to get your withdrawal processed within acceptable timeframes:

    – Make sure you provide correct bank details and a matching ACH routing number. If you are unsure which routing number to use, please contact your bank before submitting a withdrawal.

    – ATM addresses are not accepted

    – If withdrawing to a branch or subsidiary bank, make sure that the bank address matches the ACH routing number.

The bullet points above are for the benefit of other users reading this thread. If you have already been in contact with our support team, they will be able to offer the best advice based on your case.

We would like to make it clear that this isn’t about making excuses and are working as fast as we can to get you your funds.

I’m in a similar boat, though I’ve only been waiting 15 days (only lol). I messaged support and they told me to follow up with my bank, which in light of what i’ve been reading on reddit just seems like a straight up wild goose chase. I did follow up of course and the problem lies with Bitstamp. Luckily I pulled most of my funds off here already. Still trying to understand what the heck is going on…!!?? I have been using bitstamp for some years and these problems seem to be recent. It’s definitely not the exchange that it used to be

They can at least warn people that these delays happen on an ongoing basis.
