Just writing in with an utter disappointment that I woke up one day seeing my account has its “trading disabled” and the next thing I knew, my account got terminated?

Note that I emailed customer support trying to understand why this happened etc, but all I received was just a termination email when I have NOT broken any rules and the crypto being traded on this account is purely independent…..?


Come on Bitstamp? I’ve read multiple reviews of this happening to others as well but it’s just a disappointment that there is **NO DISCUSSION** or verifications of documents etc before a decision is made? How is that fair to us consumers?

    Domen, I appreciate the reply but it is absurd to get terminated without any explanation or asking for somewhat a proof of evidence

    Hi. Terminating an account is a decision we never take lightly. As I cannot comment on such cases via social media, reply to the received notice with any questions you have.

    ‪I’ve been waiting for 2 hours while my ETH withdrawal is still in process and not even started! Your CS Anna confirmed she didn’t get any reply from your technical team after emailing them. She told me to wait like her and do nothing. I can’t imagine it’s Bitstamp’s service! ‬
