has anybody gone through the verification process for the business account? Right now I’m in the middle of it and it’s a mess. Bitstamp support is constantly asking for new documents to be sent to them and quite frankly, I’m not sure they have the right to see some of them.

My accountant who’s helping me prepare all the documentation for the verification is telling me, that some of the documents that Bitstamp is requesting, cannot be sent to them, that it’s basically against the law.

Documents like company’s tax return, account statements, etc., should not be sent to them. any thoughts on that?

And whats with a constant request for new documents? I’ve sent first “batch” of them which were requested at the start of the verification process, after that, I received a request for a bunch of other documents and after I’ve sent them those, they yet again request more documents….why not ask for all of them in the beginning?

This process is just a nightmare, I’ve lost months trying to get a business account….this seriously makes me want to look for other options elsewhere, but I kinda want to work through Bitstamp, since I have excellent experience with my personal account and the Bitstamp is my “local” company…

I know they want to be extra safe since they are dealing with high amounts of cash, but this is getting ridiculous…

It’s true that our Corporate verification process can be time-consuming. However, because we are following an existing regulatory framework, we must request certain documents in order to ensure the integrity of our platform. If you would be so kind as to provide all requested documents and send me your ticket number via PM, I would be happy to help you.
