That’s right Bitstamp blocked my account since October 2018, and same as some of the people they asking me to compile with their mystery KYC protocol.
Keep asking me the transaction which I first purchased BTC from a friend of mine back in 2008.
I did submitted them the agreement of purchase.
Then they asking me to provide my friends ID information as well as some super personal information about my friend.(which I can’t and didn’t provide due to privacy of my friend.)
The they ask me to provide the wallet I transferred from, I don’t even have that wallet anymore once I did my BTC transfer.how I’m I suppose to know the address?
As well as the origin of the deposit BTC which is I purchased with cash.

Until today the problem still not solved, I’m still have BTC stuck with bitstamp that I can’t withdrawal and also some cash which is $0.83 that I can’t transfer to my back account just because the the minimum cash withdrawal amount is $25.

The current process for KYC and the withdrawal of funds in crypto are ridiculous, I’ve closed my account as they wouldn’t let me withdraw my crypto without a dystopian zoom call, who wants to do that every time , they will probably say something predictable here about how it’s good for everyone, but not good for me ! I suggest a different company.

I’m sorry you feel that way. We conduct KYC procedures to continue giving a safe and stable trading environment to our users and comply with increasing regulatory demands.
Can you PM me your ticket number so I can look into it?

Hi. Has Bitstamp solved your problem? I ran into the same problem myself and the silence from the exchange.
