Withdrawal blocked “Insufficient funds”

I transferred EUR to my Bitstamp account and bought ETH. But when I try to withdraw it to my private wallet, it gives me the error: “Insufficient funds”. I do not have any open orders, and it happens even when I try to withdraw e.g. only half of my available ETH balance. This used to work 2 months ago. What should I do? Are the funds safe on bitstamp? Somehow this looks like the problems on FTX…
